Instagram's TikTok-Like Rival Reels Will Be Coming to the US in August Amid Ban Concerns
Trump confirmed earlier this month that the US government is considering banning TikTok.
Reels will live on Instagram and will allow users to film, edit, and share 15-second videos. The feature went live in Brazil back in November, and was introduced to France and Germany last month and India in July."We’re excited to bring Reels to more countries, including the US, in early August," a Facebook company spokesperson said in a statement.
