We simulated the 2024/25 season to see how Liverpool could perform without signing a single player in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool are the only Premier League club yet to make a signing this summer, and after Martin Zubimendi rejected the Reds, there's a possibility no new players arrive before the transfer window closes. The Premier League season begins in just four days time, and after spending pre-season assessing his current squad, it seems that Arne Slot may have left it too late to try and make his first signings of the transfer window.
Gravenberch made Liverpool's best XI from the 2024/25 season simulation, with Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai both joining him in midfield. Despite making fewer appearances than Jarell Quansah, Ibrahima Konate made the best XI, and Diogo Jota managed to avoid injuries all season as he beat Darwin Nunez to the striker position. With no signings having been made, Liverpool had a slow start to the season.
