But the real star of this campaign? The power of the vote.
This campaign aims to lift barriers to voting in the US, particularly for communities of color — it was key for the collection to center around that effort. Quay CEO, Jodi Bricker, explains why the word ‘representation’ goes deep: “We love how many things the word itself represents — representation in the media, the idea of electing, and then holding accountable our political representatives. As well as ‘represent’ itself as a rallying cry to get out and vote.”
