BREAKING: Man, 20, arrested on suspicion of murder of Salah Eldin Adam in Old Trafford
The 21-year-old was fatally stabbed on Kings Road on Wednesday, May 31. Police believe he went to help a friend who was being chased by two young men before he was attacked.
Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to come forward. Detective Inspector Paul Davies of GMP's Major Incident Team said: "We have made significant progress and have arrested a number of individuals and charged one man in connection with this incident, these are huge steps in our murder inquiry as we piece together the events leading up to the attack on Salah and provide his family the answers they so badly need.
Paying tribute to him following his death, Salah's family said: "Salah was the backbone of the family and carried the family through anything and everything. He was our precious, beautiful son and a true hero.
