Lewisville officers responded to a shooting about 10:15 p.m. in the 900 block of Ashwood Drive, near South Valley Parkway, where they found Fernando Olvera wounded. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead a short time later, police said.Joseluis Vasquez, who police said is dating Olvera’s sister, was arrested at the scene on an outstanding warrant.
Vasquez was booked into the Denton County jail Wednesday on charges of murder and tampering with evidence. His bail was set at $110,000, and it was unclear whether he had an attorney.
