Emergency services raced to an address in the Merryland Place area of Govan after they received reports of an injured man following an alleged assault at around 2.45pm yesterday, September 4.
The individual was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Officers have arrested and charged a 17-year-old man in connection with the incident and he was due to appear in court earlier today, September 5.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.45 pm on Monday, September 4, 2023, police were called to a report that a man had been injured following an alleged assault at an address on Merryland Place, Govan, Glasgow. "A 17-year-old man has been arrested and charged following the incident. He was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, September 5. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
