Martin Lewis has issued a cautionary note to Amazon customers on the hunt for deals during Amazon Prime Day. The two-day event, somewhat confusingly, kicks off at one minute past midnight on Tuesday, July 16 and runs until the end of Wednesday.
UK laws stipulate that a product must be listed at a specific price for at least 28 days within a six-month period before it can be sold at an advertised lower sale price for five months.This prevents retailers from hiking the price for a day or two and then immediately slashing it for a 'sale'.
