People are being urged to buy stamps now before prices go up next month
Martin Lewis told his followers on social media to "stock up now" ahead of the 14 per cent price hike on Monday, October 2. Royal Mail confirmed that the price of stamps will increase by 15p - going up from £1.10 to £1.25.
Writing on Twitter, Mr Lewis said: "The price of a first class letter stamp rises by 14% this Sunday. So if you'll need them stock up now. As long as they say 1st on them they will still be valid."
