The Met Office has issued an update for rain across Scotland - as gusts reaching 50 to 60mph are expected to rip across the country creating havoc and 'dangerous' conditions.
An updated yellow weather warning has been issued across much of Scotland from Wednesday morning, as Scots are set to be battered with heavy downpours of rain.
Today, Monday, August 19, those in Dumfries and Galloway and the Lothian borders can expect the yellow weather warning to hit even sooner, in place from 2pm until 11pm, as heavy rain will become heavy and persistent during the afternoon and into the evening.
