Mulraney was asked whether their reluctance to ask for the audio was because it would 'open the floodgates' for clubs in Scotland to do the same.

Mike Mulraney says the SFA didn't ask UEFA to release the audio from the officials after Scott McTominay's goal against Spain was controversially disallowed - because they didn't believe they would get it.

Confusion has since reigned and the SFA wrote to UEFA for clarity on exactly why the goal was disallowed. But Mulraney, who revealed they are still waiting for a response from the governing body, says they stopped short of asking for the audio.
