NBCUniversal on Thursday announced the departure of Paul Telegdy amid a sweeping company shake-up, days after the chairman of NBC Entertainment was publicly accused of racist, sexist and homophobic behavior. ... [+]Telegy immediately denied claims about his leadership published in a July 31 article by theabout his two-year tenure at NBC, including allegations that he violated workplace-conduct norms with no consequences and made crude sexual remarks.
A week later, the company announced Telegy’s exit as part of a broad reorganization at parent company Comcast Corp.s’ media unit, led by Mark Lazarus. on Tuesday that are expected to impact up to 10% of the team following coronavirus-related revenue drops.
