Nigel Farage and his Reform UK colleagues have threatened to launch a private criminal prosecution against men accused of attacking police officers at Manchester Airport in July, saying a failure to charge them yet is evidence of "two-tier policing".
Further leaked videos reportedly captured the moment when three officers were attacked by two brothers, including the individual allegedly kicked in the head, as they tried to detain one of them at the airport earlier this year. Reform UK announced on social media that its MPs "have written to the Home Secretary about two-tier justice in Britain", reports the Express.
He told attendees in Westminster there is a growing perception in the country that we're seeing "two-tier" policing. He claimed the incident at Manchester Airport in July is being "buried and forgotten about", before showing footage of the first part of altercation which emerged in footage leaked to the media.
