PC Manjit Chahal behaved aggressively and was abusive towards British Transport Police officers
An off-duty policeman who behaved aggressively after drinking six pints falsely accused colleagues of being racists when they attended the scene.
The officer told the panel he had drunk six pints while out with friends but was "merry rather than drunk". He said an aggressive member of the public had punched him in McDonald's so he had returned punches in self-defence. The misconduct panel said the officer, along with a friend, had continued to pursue and attack the member of the public and when he had fallen to the ground.
