The US chain has 30 UK restaurants and is launching new menu items. If you’ve had your fill of the likes of McDonald’s and Burger King, then there are plenty fast food chains from across the pond, with Popeyes, Chipotle, and Wingstop all opening new UK restaurants left, right, and centre. Wendy’s is another US burger joint that’s been cropping up across the country, after making its triumphant return to the UK in 2021.
You could also add extras like crispy applewood smoked bacon into the mix. Hayley Kianoff, Wendy’s manager of international culinary innovation, describes the wraps as being ‘the perfect size’ for a snack, or to add on as an extra to your meal. ‘Our burgers are delicious but some of them are a little bit bigger and a bit more of a heavier eating occasion, so these give customers a lighter option, and they’re great on their own,’ she told Metro.co.uk.
