The Reckoning finished its final episode on BBC1 tonight
The BBC's Jimmy Savile drama The Reckoning ended on BBC One tonight but some viewers have hit out after a message displayed to viewers in the final moments of the final episode.
Viewers have been full of praise for his portrayal of Savile, including the mannerisms and stylings of the man who would be exposed as a serial sexual abuser following his death.As stated regularly by the use of talking head harrowing testimony from some of Savile’s real victims, he went to the grave in 2011, aged 84, having ‘got away with it’.
"One month later they shelved a Newsnight investigation that would have included interviews with some of Savile's victims. "Sam, Susan, Darien and Kevin were among many others who found courage to speak out about their experiences of abuse."
