The midfielder has been locked in negotiations with the Scottish champions over extending his stay.
Celtic star Reo Hatate admits he has career goals that he has "yet to clear" after turning down an initial contract offer from Parkhead.
But in an honest interview with Japanese outlet Soccer King the 25-year-old focussed on his personal goals - admitted there were some landmarks he had not hit during his time at the club. The midfielder insisted he wants to finish his career "without regrets" having previously stated he hoped to land a dream move to the English Premier League in the future.
"However, there are still some areas that I have yet to clear, so I would like to continue to set firm benchmarks in my mind and work without wavering. I want to finish without regrets. That is the best.
