cover, Rihanna revealed that she and stylist Jahleel Weaver decided to remove the lining of the lace gown before the show, and the decision has really set the tone for Rihanna's maternity looks thus far. “Rihanna is just so fearless, so for me, it’s always a question of ‘How do we make this look make sense for who she is?’ ” Weaver told the mag.
“To me, that dress is actually the closest thing to maternity clothes that I’ve worn so far,” Rihanna also shared. “We hadn’t really done lady that whole time. So I was like, Let’s do lady!” She styled the lace dress with some chain jewelry and , naturally. “Listen,” she joked. “They were going to see my panties regardless. So they’d better be mine.”that she always knew she wasn't going to rock "traditional" maternity wear while pregnant. “When I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, ‘There’s no way I’m going to go shopping in no maternity aisle’. I’m sorry — it’s too much fun to get dressed up. I’m not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing," she shared.
