The 52-year-old was last seen leaving travelling along the Hillsborough Road area of Lisburn at 5.39pm on Tuesday March 5 in her red Citroen C4 which was later parked near the Lagan Towpath.
The PSNI has tasked the charity Community Rescue Service to lead the search for Paula, which has so far focused in around the towpath on the River Lagan, downstream as far as Belfast city centre. On Tuesday March 19 there were three volunteers from the CRS patrolling the area around Moore’s Bridge near Lisburn on foot, while another volunteer from the service conducted searches via motorbike. Sean McCarry, Regional Commander of the CRS, told Belfast Live searches are ongoing every day and evening in order to find missing Paula. He said: “The Community Search and Rescue Service in coordination with the police are continuing to carry out searches every day and every evening on the River Lagan and the surrounding area in the effort to find the missing person. “It’s a coordinated search, very well planned every day and planned continuously with the PSNI. “We’re on a very structured and specific search pattern and we have to repeat that every few hour
