A Seattle police patrol car. Seattle police are searching for multiple suspects after a man was shot and a woman was carjacked Saturday evening.
Officers were sent to the 8400 block of 39th Avenue South a little after 7 p.m. after getting reports of a man shot. Upon their arrival, officers found a 47-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was provided aid then taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition when the Seattle Fire Department arrived.
A woman in her 50’s was carjacked and had items stolen at the same location by one of the suspects involved in the shooting. Robbery Unit Detectives are leading the investigation. Anyone with information, is asked to contact the Violent Crimes Tip Line at 233-5000.
