The former SNP member is fighting moves to kick her out of the House of Commons.
Shamed MP Margaret Ferrier has appealed the House of Commons standards committee's recommendation that she is suspended for 30 days.
The Rutherglen and Hamilton West MP could face a by-election after the standards committee recommended she receives a 30-day suspension for breaching Covid rules. Ferrier lost the SNP whip and received a criminal conviction after travelling from London to Glasgow by train while infected with Covid at the height of the pandemic.
The Independent Expert Panel - which is entirely independent and has no MPs sitting on it - will consider the appeal.
