The 47-year-old man remains in hospital after being shot in the abdomen by a masked man
A man shot while sitting in a taxi in a car park in Banbridge two weeks ago remains in a critical condition in hospital while PSNI officers carry out searches in the town.
Two men were arrested in connection with the incident, which police are treating as attempted murder, but have since been released on bail. “As a result of the search officers seized a number of items from the house that have now been removed for further examination. “We also continue to investigate a line of enquiry that the suspect made off from the scene in a silver-coloured Peugeot vehicle, which was later found burnt in the Drone Hill Road area of Corbet.
