“Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Live in Concert” visits Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco on Nov. 10 and the Center for Performing Arts in San Jose on Nov. 13.
“Spider-Man” is swinging into the Bay Area this fall.
And fans of the Marvel Comics superhero can join the party when “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Live in Concert” visits the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco on Nov. 10 and the Center for Performing Arts in San Jose on Nov. 13. The traveling show is a “whole new way to experience their favorite box office hit, ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,'” according to a news release.
“The Academy Award-winning film from Sony Pictures Animation will be accompanied by a live orchestra, band, and turntables with a scratch DJ playing music from the score and soundtrack,” continues the release. “Joining the tour is the Broadway Sinfonietta, an all-women and majority women-of-color orchestra.”
The tour, which is conducted by Emily Marshal, follows the show’s sold-out world premiere at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn this past March.
