Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Marquez returned to our screens on Saturday 14 September for the show’s dazzling launch show, along with his celebrity partner for the 20th anniversary series. His partner, This Morning regular, Dr Punam Krishan, said of dancing with the Spanish native, who has scored more tens than any other pro dancer currently on the show, “Oh I'm absolutely buzzing. I think we are the perfect pairing.
Admitting that yes, he was full of ‘happiness and joy’ for the start of Strictly for another year, he also had ‘a feeling of sadness, guilt, for going away for however long it is.” He continued reflectively: “A feeling of letting them down for not being there, a sense of failure to them..’
