Police say the student suffered a serious injury
The incident took place on Royle Road at around 1pm on October 8. As a result of the crash, a student suffered a serious injury.
Police say that they were left in need of surgery after the collision. Officers are investigating the crash and are appealing for witnesses.They are particularly interested in speaking to a woman who was at the scene who we believe to be wearing a white/cream coloured top. They believe that she may be a key witness.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "A serious collision occurred on Royle Road near to Burnley College at 1pm on Tuesday 8th October '22 which has left a student with serious injury requiring surgery. "We are appealing for witnesses to this incident and urge people to contact us if they have seen this incident and can provide us with any information at all.
"We are particularly interested in speaking to a woman who was at the scene who we believe to be wearing a white/cream coloured top - we believe that she may be a key witness.Anyone with any information please contact [email protected] or ring 101 quoting log 0556 of October 8, 2022.
