America's most popular league continues to target a global audience.
According to NFL Commissioner Rodger Goodell, the option of London being the host city of a future Super Bowl is not out of the cards.The London Super Bowl game won't be until at least 2027 as the next three Super Bowls have already been handed out: 2024 at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders; 2025 at Caesars Superdome, home of the New Orleans Saints; and 2026 at Levi's Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers.
The International Series has become a staple for the league for nearly two decades. This season, it scheduled five overseas games and just wrapped up its third and final one in London on Oct. 15. It has two more games in Frankfurt, Germany in November.The addition of international players allows for more recognition in the markets of those players, which is how the NBA was able to gain a global audience.
