Alfie Bradley set upon his partner twice
Alfie Bradley, 22, also assaulted the woman by placing his foot on her throat. Preston Crown Court heard how Bradley threw a box and a baby accessory at his partner.
He then punched her four times, the court heard. The woman suffered red marks to her neck and cuts and bruises to her leg. He said he would call social services while she was in hospital and tell them she was a drug addict. He posted TikTok videos calling her 'fat sl*g' and 'dirty sl*g'. He also harrassed the woman's best friend, saying she was an 'informer' and calling repeatedly. As a result, the friend also suffered increased anxiety.
"You assaulted her on Christmas Day then again, two days later. When bailed, you pressured her with phone calls or through social media, not in a caring or apologetic way hoping she was alright or anything like that, but in a threatening, abusinve, confrontational way, offering extreme violence and threatening her with social services.
The judge said Bradley had not really thought about his responsibility for his actions but aded: "You have to understand this is what you did and this is the effect of what you did. You may see it as hot air, sending that message, but to threaten someone they will have their kids taken off them is a horrible thing to say.
