Two women killed early Sunday in Paradise Valley hit-and-run crash [Breaking]
Two women were killed early Sunday in a hit-and-run crash on Paradise Valley Road east of National City.
San Diego Police said the broadside collision occurred about 2:25 am when compact sedan westbound on Paradise Valley Road made a left turn toward Munda Road and was struck by an oncoming pickup truck.Four people were in the sedan. A 25-year-old woman in the front passenger seat and a 20-year-old woman in the rear passenger seat were pronounced dead at the hospital, according to authorities. Names were not released.
The 22-year-old woman driver of the sedan suffered serious but non-life- threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital, said police. Firefighters cut off the top of the car to extract her, based on footage from OnScene TV. A 25-year-old man who was in the rear driver’s side seat complained of pain, but it is unclear if he was taken to the hospital.
