Ewan Duncan of Tannochside Primary has been named the Scottish regional winner of SGN's carbon monoxide awareness competition after impressing judges with his informative slideshow on the importance of installing CO alarms. The eight-year-old was inspired by a workshop held at the school by Bonanza Creative alongside SGN.
A Uddingston school pupil has won a top prize in a major competition promoting carbon monoxide awareness as part of gas safety week.

He was presented with a certificate and won a cash prize both for himself and for the school; with judges praising both UK regional winners for “creative entries clarity, engagement, and vital safety messages”.
