Brits are being urged not to fall into 'tourist traps' while on holiday
Finding somewhere to eat while on holiday can be tricky and now Brits have been warned of ‘red flags’ to look out for when dining abroad. UK holiday makers visiting places such as Spain, Italy and Greece are rigid to avoid falling into ‘tourist traps’.
But there are some key things to look out for, reports Birmingham Live. Travel expert Constantina Demos has shared how Brits can find somewhere more genuine.Writing for Delicious, she said: "When I travel I have a dining bucket list. I’m a woman on a mission... to ensure each meal I eat is authentic and delicious. I’ve fallen victim to choosing convenience over effort and stumbled into the first restaurant I came across without doing due diligence.
"I’m left unsatisfied by an average meal that I’ve paid way too much for. But throughout my travels, I’ve curated a mental list of red flags that indicate a restaurant is a tourist trap." Warning European holidaymakers, the jet-setter spoke out.
