Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to find a missing woman last seen carrying an orange suitcase and a Tesco carrier bag.
Annette Balance, from Workington, was last sighted in the Dixon's Chimney area of Carlisle on Tuesday morning at around 9am. The 44-year-old was last seen wearing a green hoodie, leggings and converse trainers. Cumbria Police said Annette is described as white and around 5ft 5ins tall with black hair in a bob style. Officers are 'concerned' for her welfare and anyone with information to share is being asked to contact policeIn a statement issued this morning , a force spokesperson said: "Have you seen missing Annette Balance from Workington? Annette is 44 years old and was last seen in Carlisle in the vicinity of Dixon Chimney, at around 9am yesterday morning .
"Annette is described as white and around 5ft 5ins tall with black hair in a bob style. She was last seen wearing a green hoodie, leggings and converse trainers and carrying an orange suitcase and a Tesco carrier bag.
