Despite Ethan Wheatley's second-half effort, goals either side of half-time from Farid Alfa-Ruprecht, Jaden Heskey and Will Dickson sealed the bragging rights and the points for City.City got their noses in front right on the stroke of half-time, making the most of first-half injury-time. Alfa-Ruprecht pounced on a misplaced defensive header, rounded United goalkeeper Hubert Graczyk, who recently joined the club from Arsenal, and fired into an empty net.
