Horrified beachgoers watched on as she appeared to fall through the famous attraction
A woman who plunged through Central Pier in Blackpool and onto the beach below on Tuesday remains in hospital, police have said.
The pier was evacuated and the woman was rushed to hosptial, where police have this morning confirmed the remains. The full extent of her injuries is not yet clear.
