Daniel Radcliffe is imagined as a new Wolverine in a fantastic fan-made X-Men poster. The actor quickly cemented himself as a household name through his long run playing the titular character in the Harry Potter series. After spending over a decade of his life on the franchise, Radcliffe went on to act in independent movies, though Wolverine casting rumors have been following Radcliffe since 2019.
While Hugh Jackman definitely won over the hearts of audiences during his run as Wolverine from 2000-2017, he faced some pushback. The actor’s casting made his movie character 6'3", whereas his comic book counterpart is much shorter, standing at 5'3". While Radcliffe is still taller at roughly 5'5", it’s in part because of his height that fans have clung to his casting so tightly.
Although there’s been no official announcement, fans have been excited about the potential of the X-Men’s MCU introduction since Disney finalized their takeover of 21st Century Fox. Marvel has teased fans with the possibility, with the partial return of Evan Peters' Pietro in WandaVision and Patrick Stewart’s upcoming involvement in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
