Don't fret, as a lifestyle guru unveiled a simple trick to help your knives and forks quickly regain their original sparkle. According to TikTok user Jess , four common household items and boiling water are all you need for the job.
She then added white vinegar to finalise the cleaning mixture. "Now leave that for a couple of hours," she explained. "The tin foil will cause a chemical reaction that transfers all the dirt from your cutlery onto the tin foil." Having returned the gleaming cutlery to its drawer, Jess also noted her tip works wonders for steak knives too - particularly ones with wooden handles, adding: "You'll be surprised at the amount of dirt and grime that comes out of them."
