They can actually end up ruining your clothes, especially delicate fabric - but fashion experts have recommended a simple alternative.
Even though it's technically summer, the unpredictable Scottish weather can mean it's difficult to stick to plans - as the nice weather often doesn't stick around for very long.
However, fashion experts at Superdry claim we've been drying our laundry all wrong - and that we should actually ditch the clothes pegs in favour of a simple alternative. The pros say that these wooden or plastic pegs can end up doing more harm than good, and can end up ruining our favourite clothes.
And when it comes to drying your clothes, one of the best ways to do this is 'harness the power of nature' and get them outside - but maybe avoid the clothes pegs and stick your drying rack outside instead. "Take caution when using clothes pegs, as they can leave unsightly and potentially permanent pressure marks on delicate fabrics. To protect delicate items, avoid using clothes pegs altogether, and be careful not to leave items outside in the wind, as they could be blown away."
