A popular Benidorm local, who runs a bar on the strip in the Spanish resort, has shared a warning for holidaymakers about a particular area where tourists are at risk of being scammed
Thousands of Brits are lured to the sun-soaked beaches of Benidorm, enticed by the sizzling weather and budget-friendly drinks. Yet, a local has recently sounded the alarm for tourists about a notorious hotspot for scams.
He cautioned that this spot is rife with pickpocketing incidents. His partner added: "Ironically, it's also where they tell you, if you have an incident as an English person, such as a robbery, you have to go and report it there." By raising awareness, he hopes to help holidaymakers stay vigilant and enjoy their vacations without the shadow of crime.
