"They’re committed to seeing this thing through to the end," said Pastor Michael Young with City of Grace Church. "I think the expectation is and will continue to be justice for Casey Goodson Junior."
The trial began on January 25, 2024, with the selection of jurors and ended on Friday, February 16, in a mistrial. "Tamala and her family are prayerful people," he said. "As a church family, we’ve continued to pray for them and support them in that manner. And I think that helps kind of create that resolve and create that stamina in this very long journey for them."
"I had the opportunity to be in court every day for the trial, and I think one of the themes that came out of the trial is that evidence doesn’t lie. People do," Young said.
