Coronation Street 's Lucy Fallon has spoken about her future on the show following the announcement of her second pregnancy, sparking concerns among fans that she might permanently leave the ITV soap. The actress, who plays Bethany Platt and first graced the cobbles in 2015, shared a delightful video on Instagram on Tuesday , revealing that she and her partner, footballer Ryan Ledson, are expecting another child.
Lucy took an extended break from Coronation Street when she welcomed her first child in February 2023. Earlier this year, she returned to the soap as part of the intriguing plot surrounding Lauren Bolton's disappearance. Dressed in her character's outfit, a crop top and black midi skirt, on-set, Lucy wrote: "Lots of Corrie related Q's. I won't be away for toooo long and I am returning after I pop the baby out xx."
Although he initially won over one of Weatherfield's own, viewers had reservations about his intentions from the get-go. These doubts were not unfounded, as recent events have disclosed that it was Joel who orchestrated the vanishing act of Lauren Bolton.
