A window of a ninth-floor property was completely consumed by flames.
Firefighters are battling a blaze in a high rise block of flats in Glasgow . Smoke and flames were pictured coming from a window in the north of the city this afternoon.
Thick grey smoke billowed into the sky above the property, in the city's Carron Street, after the fire was sparked around 2.30pm. Images from the scene show multiple fire appliances around the base of the structure with fire damage visible.
