Celebrity chef James Martin has candidly shared the peculiar reason behind his split with James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli. Martin revealed that their relationship took a turn for the worse when Broccoli attempted to surprise him with a lavish £180,000 Aston Martin gift.
The pair met at a charity auction, and despite a significant age difference of 12 years, they hit it off immediately, reports the Daily Record. Broccoli, whose fortune is estimated at an impressive £300m, had previously treated Martin to extravagant presents, including three authentic Picassos.Yet, it was the unexpected offer of the supercar that made Martin realise their perspectives were misaligned.
James Martin, the celebrity chef, and Louise Davies have parted ways after meeting on 'Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?' over ten years ago. The couple called it quits in December.
